It’s that time of the year again folks, one of the grandest race meetings in British racing; The annual Cheltenham Festival and Gold Cup finale.
This year’s event commences on March 12th with the opening Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at 1:30 and concludes, as always, the following Friday with the 17:30 Grand Annual Handicap Chase. Of course, all eyes will be on 15:30 on the final Friday as this is “Gold Cup Day”, where the Grade 1 Magners Cheltenham Gold Cup Chase takes place with a pot of £625,000 (3m 2f 70y).
For race fans looking to watch the action at home, there are two main choices. As expected, ITV1 has the broadcast right for the major races throughout the 4 days while Racing TV has all the live action. The Telegraph will also have a live-blog running, so race fans, who possibly cannot watch at work, can sneakily keep tabs on the happening at the racecourse.
Of course, for live-streaming, there’s some great options, but none as good as Bet365, who once again will be proving live-streams of all the action!
You’ll be able to follow all seven races, every day, throughout the 4 day meeting through a computer or laptop as well as modern devices such as mobiles, tablets etc. The Cheltenham-streams are available within the UK & Ireland, but remember that certain locations outwith may be geo-restricted, bets must be placed on a race to activate stream (see below for more info) and T&Cs apply. You must be 18 or over.
* 18+ Only. Watch and Bet – Geographic restrictions apply! Minimum 50p win or 25p each-way bet on race required to qualify. T&C Applies. Please gamble responsibly – begambleware.org.
